Professional Psychologist. Professional Human.
Dr. Erazo,
the Multi Hyphenate
I’m a Bay Area-bred, New York City-trained, award-winning psychologist, adjunct professor of psychology, and founder and CEO of Liberate Psychological & Consultation Services, Inc. – Libérate, for short. Holding a Ph.D. in clinical psychology (with an emphasis in forensic psychology), I’ve devoted my career to serving people of color, immigrants, queer and other multiply-marginalized folks. I focus on supporting their mental health journeys through healing, research, disseminating info, and advocacy.
As a child of immigrants, I understand firsthand the inequities marginalized people face, so I work to bring my expertise and knowledge to those communities in various ways: therapy, coaching, consultations, psychological assessments, teaching, public speaking, and public writing.
Through my work, I focus on communities who don’t typically have access to high-quality mental health professionals who look like and understand them. My goal is to serve as an expert who is knowledgeable and empathic, but can also provide a sense of connection and recognition from our shared experiences.

Dr. Erazo,
the Person
While I’m proud of my degrees and accomplishments, I’ve always felt it was important to be a three-dimensional person. My professional experience and personal life have all had an important impact on forming the person I am. So, here are a few personal facts about me:
Notable Moments
My work is driven by the deep-seated desire to help marginalized groups navigate obstacles and flourish, but my identity goes far beyond my professional life. I’m equally proud of my work and what I do in my free time, so I won’t be shy about flaunting it.
My Services
Liberate Psychological &
Consultation Services, Inc.
I started Liberate with one goal: to make high-quality psychological services accessible to folks in marginalized communities who’ve been beaten down by a system that’s anything but fair. Through therapy, consultations, coaching, assessments, or speaking engagements, I’m arming people with the tools they need to lay the foundation for change.
Been There,
Done That
Whether I’m in the classroom, on a conference stage, or contributing my expertise to academic journals and pop culture sites alike, I’m always ready to make some noise. Here’s some stuff I’m really proud of.

Nerd Alert
I believe it was Dr. Maya Angelou who said, “I’ve learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way they consume the relentless media content factory endlessly competing for our attention and brain power.” Something like that, right? Here’s a look at what I’ve been learning from, laughing at, and decompressing with lately.
